There’s a way for expats, flexpats, and digital nomads to contain their overseas cost of living while experiencing life the ways the locals live it. It’s called housesitting.
Basically, you arrange to stay in someone’s home and care for their pets in exchange for free lodging. The owners can leave their furry, feathered, or scaly friends in the comfort of their home, knowing they’re being looked after, and you get a place to lay your head.
Done properly, it’s a win-win all around.
In this episode, we talk about the pros and cons of housesitting, and you’ll hear about my own experiences finding a housesitting to stay with my dogs in Panama.
Kitty’s also made a handy downloadable guide to print and keep handy when you’re housesitting. Download your copy here.
